Double click to update node

Right click the node to add kinsman

Hold right click and drag mouse to pan

Use mouse wheel or the + / - buttons to zoom in and out

You can change the design mode by pressing the button on the bottom right.

Click the circle to add children, clicking the circle and dragging the node establishes a child relationship
